Sue Lewington spoke to our art group this evening.
First she advised some members about their pictures.
The colour green is difficult.
Sometimes it looks unnatural.
Shadows can be hard as well.
They could be too heavy.
Perhaps we need to make the things at the front
more distinct than the background.
There are lots of things to learn.
After the tea-break she showed us her own new work.
There will be a new “Cornwall Centre”
in Redruth (in the old brewery)
and she did sketches and illustrations
all about the building work - for a new book.
At sunset the sea and the sky were dramatic colours.
