Can you give a name to this shape? It's a cube.
It has six square faces, and twelve straight edges.
It's a regular solid, a perfect solid. All the sides are equal.
Every edge is the same length, every face is the same area.
To the Greek philosopher, Plato, long ago,
it was the perfect shape to equate to the element "Earth".
It does not move easily.
Why did I make a cube like a stone (marble)?
Several years ago I took part in a project
that combined art and science. I made several models.
I only have a few left.
I found this image on the Internet. It is wrong!
A cube is not the correct shape for Water,
and Earth is not formed like a figure with four faces (tetrahedron).
