The weather today is very windy. The trees are swaying/swinging in the strong wind. (Swaying/swinging is better than burning!) The wind isn't cold because it's southerly. A lot more apples have fallen. There are apples crushed by cars in the lane, but there are still a lot apples out of reach in that tree.
