There’s a new survey done by the BBC. How does creativity affect (have a bearing on) our health? Are we in better health (more healthy) if we are creative? What is the result? What can we do to be healthier? They asked nearly 50,000 people about their activities and their health. Would you like to avoid stress? Would you like to make more space in your innermost thoughts? Would you like to improve your self-development and your self-esteem? So, do something creative. What is creative/imaginative? Much loved and popular with people are singing, painting, drawing, print making, sculpting, gardening, reading novels, stories, poetry and plays, playing musical instruments, baking, knitting/weaving and embroidery, writing, dancing and photography. There is a big choice. You only do one thing? That’s OK. Is learning Cornish a suitable activity, do you think? We can forget everything else. It's good in a big crowd, in a group and it's good all on our own (but without a pipe!).
