There was bad weather again today, with many heavy showers. I walked to the bus stop in rain. My umbrella did keep my head dry, but my feet were not dry all day. The sea was rough again. I was glad to reach Truro and have coffee and hot soup with my friends. The soup today was parsnip, apple and ginger – comfort in a dish! There was a choice of bread – whole meal or Italian style. As I was going home I saw a road sign by Bolingey Woods saying “FLOOD”. A great part of the water had drained away – but my feet were wet again. The moon was reflected in the water.
