Squirrels like nuts, but there are not many nuts in the trees. There are hazel trees all around, but the nuts are gone. There were plenty of lamb's tails in the spring. Then the squirrels ate some unripe nuts, and dropped the others on the ground. They are white and green. Now the trees are empty. We put some oats on the wall for the birds.
